Bio
It all started in 1996, when R-ASH got his first pair of turntables. Still a kid, he was quickly recognized as a genuine prodigy and rose fast to become a reference in the French DJ scene.
At just 14, he brought home his first championship title. The next year he locked down the 2002 DMC Scratch Champion of France crown and kept collecting wins through 2010. Across his competitive career, he was crowned French Champion seven times and finished as Vice World Champion three times at the DMC World DJ Contest.
He made the jump early to clubs and live stages, forging a distinctive identity along the way. He’s shared the stage with major names in both electronic music and hip-hop (Cassius, Kavinsky, AC Slater, DJ Cut Killer, Raekwon, N.O.R.E, Rhymefest, Birdy Nam Nam, DJ Krush…), most notably with French rap legends Suprême NTM, with whom he tore through the biggest festivals and arenas across France and Europe between 2017 and 2020.
He also held down weekly residencies on major French radio stations for years: Radio FG from 2004 to 2008 and Mouv’ from 2015 to 2023.
These days, R-ASH makes sure his audience never goes hungry. He drops new music regularly and performs in clubs and festivals around the world. His tracks are played by superstar DJs like Diplo and Ta-Ku, just to name a few. He’s also highly active on Instagram, where he regularly receives support from renowned DJs such as DJ Snake, A-Trak, DJ Craze, Shibasan, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Q-Bert, DJ Numark, Pete Rock, DJ Kentaro, Kid Capri, Scratch Bastid and many more. On stage, his sets stand out for their technical precision and smart, eclectic approach, weaving together Hip-Hop, Electronic Music and hybrid genres that bridge different worlds, whether packing clubs or connecting with every kind of crowd.
